IIT Madras invites registrations for levels 3 and 4 in 'Out of the Box Thinking' maths course

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) has launched levels 3 and 4 of the 'Out of the box' thinking Mathematics course and has begun the registration process for the same. The registrations for both the levels will be invited till May 7, 2023. The candidates will have to log on to pravartak.org.in to register for both the courses.

A statement from the institute said that the mathematics course is intended to encourage innovative thinking, and the courses are being offered through IIM-M Pravartak technologies foundation. The final exam for the course will take place in selected cities across the country.

The official notification released by IIT Madras said that the course is even being offered in foreign countries. All the four levels of the course will be easily accessible to all the students, professionals and researchers.

IIT Madras director V Kamakoti said: "The levels 1 and 2 of the 'Out of the box thinking course' were well received across India. This course is being offered free-of-cost. This course will benefit the school and college students, especially those residing in rural India. Thinking differently is crucial for innovation leading to entrepreneurship. Training the young mind to think differently, will in the long run yield creative youth for our nation".

IIT Madras further said in its statements that Pravartak will also issue the grade certification for students who take the examinations. The institute is targeting as many as one million school and college students, working professionals and researchers.
