NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Madras and TVS Credit Services Limited are set to conduct research together. IIT Madras will provide technology solutions in the field of financial technology and data science. Both organisations will work together on innovative programmes and provide training to young professionals.
This partnership will also provide scholarships for students. The non-banking financial company sector can also improve resource efficiency and productivity.
"This effort would create a seamless ecosystem between industry and academia for leveraging analytics and technology," a statement from the company said.

"The future of technology in financial services is an exciting space to participate in, with an institute like IIT-Madras. Also, the importance of skilling and upskilling is more acute than ever before," Venkatraman G, CEO of TVS Credit said in a statement.
"Partnerships such as these help in creating practical and innovative solutions that can have a lasting impact. We look forward to working together and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes” added Ravindra Gettu, professor and dean, IIT Madras (Centre for Industrial Consultancy and Sponsored Research).
The release claims that the collaboration would enhance research and development.
