IIT Mandi invites applications for MBA in Data Science, AI; apply by January 31

NEW DELHI: The School of Management at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (IIT Mandi) has invited applications for admission to its Masters of Business Administration (MBA) course in data science and artificial intelligence (DS and AI) for 2025-27 batch. Candidates can apply for the course through the official website, som.iitmandi.ac.in.
The programme is designed to create “future-ready management professionals” with a deep understanding of data-driven decision-making and AI-powered business strategies, the institute said. Interested candidates will have to register for the MBA Data Science and AI course by 5 pm on January 31.
MBA Data Science, AI: Eligibility, admission process
Applicants will have to select one of the two categories, as per their eligibility. The first category includes candidates who have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree. In the second category, those who have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) can apply based on their score. The applicants should also have a minimum CGPA in their qualifying degree.
Candidates who are shortlisted after the basic screening process will be called for a group discussion and interview round.

The MBA programme had an average placement salary package of Rs 16 lakh per annum and highest package of Rs 39 lakh per annum in previous placements, the institute said. Top recruiters for the placement drive include firms from different domains such as analytics, consulting, finance, and AI-driven domains.
