IIT Roorkee to close GATE 2025 scorecards download facility without fee today

Try NowThe Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will close the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 scorecard download window today, May 31. Candidates who qualified the aptitude test can download their GATE 2025 scorecards through the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, without paying any charges.
Candidates can download their scorecards by logging into the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal using their enrollment ID/email ID and password. The scorecard will carry details such as the candidate’s name, registration number, GATE score, qualifying marks, total marks obtained out of 100, and the All-India Rank in the paper attempted.
Candidates who do not download the GATE 2025 scorecard by today can still access it by paying an additional fee. After today, candidates will be required to pay Rs 500 per test paper to download the scorecard. The final deadline to download the GATE 2025 scorecard with payment is December 31, 2025. Beyond this date, candidates will no longer be able to download the GATE 2025 scorecard.
“In case GATE qualified candidates require the softcopy of their GATE Scorecard after 31st May 2025 and till 31st December 2025, they MUST pay a fee of 500 (Rupees five hundred only) per test paper for obtaining the same. From 1st January 2026 onwards, NO scorecard will be issued for GATE 2025 qualified candidates,” the official information bulletin said.
The GATE 2025 results were declared on March 19, 2025, and the scorecards were made available for download on March 28, 2025. The GATE 2025 score will be valid for three years from the date of announcement of the result.
How to download GATE 2025 scorecards?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download the GATE 2025 scorecard.
- Visit the GATE 2025 official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in
- Log in to GATE GOAPS 2025 using your email ID or enrolment number and password
- Click on the login button
- The GATE 2025 scorecard PDF will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the GATE scorecard 2025 and take a printout for future reference.
The scorecard is an important document for admission to master’s degree programs such as Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch), and Master of Planning (MPlan) at various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and other well-known institutions. It is also required for recruitment in public sector undertakings (PSUs).
