IIT Ropar, NSDC, Masai School launch minor programme in AI and machine learning

Masai School signs agreement with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and IIT Ropar for AIForBharat Initiative.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Masai School have collaborated to introduce a jointly certified minor program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI, ML). The aim is to bring together the expertise of three universities to deliver a quality educational experience.
Rajeev Ahuja Director, IIT Ropar said, “The Minor Program in AI and ML epitomises our dedication to providing students with a holistic educational experience, blending academic rigour with hands-on application. With great anticipation, we embark on this journey to push boundaries and revolutionise technological education. We aim to nurture forward-thinking pioneers equipped to tackle emerging challenges with innovation and confidence."

Program in artificial intelligence and machine learning
Students will participate in lectures and undergo assessment by professors from IIT Ropar. The curriculum consists of seven modules: basics of swift engineering, introduction to machine learning, data management and processing, neural networks and advanced learning, natural language processing, operations of large language models (llms), and a capstone project.
