: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur is all set to start the GATE 2022 exam from today.The GATE 2022 will start at 9 am today and will be held in two shifts. Today’s GATE 2022 examination will be conducted for four papers namely, Computer Science and Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics.

Despite several requests from aspirants for IIT Kharagpur GATE 2022 postponement due to the ongoing COVID-19, the authorities have decided to conduct the GATE 2022 as per schedule. Candidates can check IITKGP GATE 2022 exam timings for today and tomorrow’s GATE papers below.

For the safe conduct of the GATE 2022 exam, the authorities will be taking measures at all times. Before an entry inside the exam centre, the authorities at the IITKGP GATE exam centre will assess the health of aspirants. Aspirants have to adhere to COVID related protocols in compliance with the orders and directives of Government of India. Moreover, students with fever higher than 99.4 degree/ cough/ runny nose will be taken into an isolation area of the exam.
The GATE 2022 exam for the remaining papers will be conducted on February 12 and 13. This year, the institute has introduced two new papers -Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and Geomatics Engineering.
After the conclusion of the GATE paper 2022, many coaching institutes will release the GATE 2022 analysis based on students’ reaction. Unofficial GATE 2022 answer key as prepared by the experts will also be made available for aspirants. Students can use unofficial GATE answer key 2022 to calculate their probable scores before the declaration of results. The GATE 2022 result date is March 17.
