Candidates can now apply for JMI admission 2021 till the extended deadline, July 10 at jmicoe.in
NEW DELHI : Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has extended the last date to fill the JMI application form 2021 for UG, PG and Diploma programmes till July 10. Candidates who have yet not filled their applications for JMI admission 2021 can register before the application deadline by visiting the official website of JMI, jmicoe.in.
The university released the JMI 2021 application form on May 17. The last date of filling and submitting the JMI admission form was earlier scheduled for June 30.
“The Vice-Chancellors, JMI on the request of the aspirants has approved the extension in the last date of filing of admission forms for all undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma programmes, etc for the academic session 2021-22 till July 1,” reads the official notification.
Jamia Millia Islamia offers admission to various 134 courses through an entrance examination, Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test conducted by the university itself. The JMI entrance exam 2021 for UG programmes will be held in seven test cities namely, Delhi, Patna, Srinagar, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata and Lucknow.
The university has also planned to launch 8 new courses from the academic session 2021-22. These eighth new courses are - M.Sc Environmental Science & Management, MA Mass Media (Hindi) in the Department of Hindi, PG Diploma in Translation Studies in the Department of English, PG Diploma in English-Hindi Translation in the Department of Hindi, MBA (Healthcare & Hospital Management), Master in Design in the Faculty of Architecture, BA (Hons.) French and Francophone Studies in the Centre of Spanish and Latin American Studies and BA (Hons.) Spanish and Latin American Studies in Centre of Spanish and Latin American Studies,
Jamia Millia Islamia University will also start four new departments from the forthcoming session - Department of Hospital Management and Hospice Studies, Department of Design and Innovation, Department of Foreign Languages and Department of Environmental Sciences.
