Shortlisted students will be eligible for financial aid of Rs 12,000 during Class 9-12. Students will have to apply online on National Scholarship Portal.
NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has declared the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS 2022-23) result today for Class 8 students. Eligible students who appeared in the JK NMMS exam held on December 14, 2022, will be able to check the selection status on the official website, jkbose.nic.in.

Students who have been shortlisted for the NMMS scholarship will have to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) “as and when the same is opened for the purpose and in this regard the concerned selected candidates shall have to remain in touch with the official website, www.scholarships.gov.in, of Ministry of Education (MOE) Government of India on a regular basis”.
The board has instructed all Chief Education Officers to ensure that the selected candidates fullfil the eligibility conditions as per the guidelines of the scheme.
It said that in case a student is found ineligible for the grant of scholarship under the NMMS scheme during the online verification process, the selection will be cancelled.
How to check JK NMMS scholarship result 2023
Students who appeared in the NMMS scholarship scheme exam in December 2022 conducted in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will be able to download the results by following the steps given below.
- Visit the JKBOSE official website, jkbose.nic.in.
- Click on the JK NMMS result download link on the homepage.
- Enter the registration number and password/date of birth.
- Submit the login credentials entered.
- JK NMMS result 2022-23 will be displayed.
- Download and save it for future reference.
Upon verification, shortlisted students will be eligible for financial aid of Rs 12,000 during Classes 9 to 12.
