As per the JEE Main 2021 official brochure, along with qualifying JEE Advanced exam, candidates are also required to secure either a minimum score of 75% marks in Class 12 Board exams or rank among the top 20 percentile in their qualifying examinations to be eligible for IIT admissions. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the Class 12/ qualifying examination.
However, the authorities may relax the JEE Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria for IIT admissions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
