: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon be declaring the JEE Main result 2021 as the registration for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2021 (JEE Advanced 2021) is scheduled to begin tomorrow. Candidates who secure the first 2,50,000 ranks in JEE Main results 2021 will be eligible to apply for the IIT admission test, JEE Advanced.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, the conducting authority of JEE Advanced 2021, will release the JEE Advanced application form on September 11 on the official website - jeeadv.ac.in. So it is highly likely that the NTA will declare the JEE Main 2021 results today at jeemain.nta.nic.in, ntaresults.nic.in. The past trends also suggest that students can expect the JEE 2021 result tonight.
JEE Main 2021 Result August Session Live Updates
Last year, the JEE Main result was released around midnight on September 11, 2020, and the JEE Advanced registration date was September 12, 2020. However, in case of delay in JEE Main 2021 result declaration, the admission process and JEE advanced 2021 schedule will be further delayed.
This year, the NTA increased the number of JEE Mains attempts to four compared to the JEE Main 2020, which was held in two phases. The decision was taken to give engineering aspirants more attempts to improve their scores.
JEE Advanced 2021 Registration
The top 2,50,000 candidates can register for appearing in JEE Advanced 2021 exam using their JEE Main 2021 roll number and password. After successful login, the personal, academic and contact details will automatically be fetched from the JEE Main database. Following this, candidates will have to check the details and enter additional information to complete the JEE Advanced 2021 registration.
After the registration, applicants will have to upload documents and pay the JEE Advanced application fee.
Special eligibility status: The candidates who successfully registered for JEE Advanced 2020 but were absent in both papers [Paper 1 and Paper2] are eligible to directly register for JEE Advanced 2021.

Candidates can apply for JoSSA counselling for admission to IIITs, NITs, CFTIs after the JEE Main 2021 result is released. Students who want to study BArch in IITs will have to appear in the Architecture Aptitude Test (JEE Advanced AAT 2021).
