JEE Advanced 2023 results are calculated by adding marks obtained by candidates in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in papers 1 and 2 individually. Meaning, marks secured by candidates in physics in both the papers will be added to calculate the total marks in the subject. Similarly, the total marks in chemistry and mathematics are obtained.
IIT Guwahati will then calculate the aggregate marks of the candidates in JEE Advanced 2023 based on the total marks secured in all three subject papers.
The JEE Advanced score will be used to award ranks. Candidates have to appear in both paper 1 and paper 2 in order to be considered for inclusion in the common rank list (CRL).
