NEW DELHI: The result of the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2023 has been announced. As many as 43,773 students qualified for the IIT admission test. JEE Advanced 2023 result was announced on June 18.

During an interview with Careers360, most toppers including Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree of IIT Hyderabad zone wants to get admission to IIT Bombay. As per statistics available with the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), 93 top candidates had chosen IIT Bombay as their first preference last year. While 62 of the top 100 JEE Advanced rank-holders in 2021 got into IIT Bombay, and 58 in 2020.

JEE Advanced 2023 CRL 56: Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree

Nayakanti Naga Bhavya Sree bagged the first rank in the female category and has been placed in the 56th rank in the Open category in JEE Advanced 2023. She aspires to pursue computer science in IIT Bombay.

Saying that she has been preparing for JEE from Class 8, the female topper said that she had an interest in all three subjects, especially maths and focussed more in Class 11 and 12. Bhavya Sree used to study for 12 to 13 hours a day and give weekend exams.

“I think confidence, hard work, exam temperament are as important as the subject knowledge. One should know how to handle failure in any exam, learn from mistakes and implement the things properly,” she said.

The female topper got full marks in Class 10th and 986 marks out of 1,000.

Dedicating her success to parents and management of Narayana, Bhavya Shree said: “In my case I think my patience, temperament and fearlessness towards failure helped me a lot to achieve this success.”

JEE Advanced 2023 CRL 15: Chaitanya Mahesh Maheshwari

Sharing the success mantra, Chaitanya Mahesh Maheshwari, JEE Advanced CRL 15 topper has said that the topper joined Narayana E Techno School at Marol in Mumbai in their 2-year integrated classroom program for Class 11th and 12th. Aspiring to get admitted in computer science engineering in IIT Bombay, the topper wants to use cutting edge technology and artificial intelligence in fintech sector for better prosperity and lifestyle of the general masses.

The topper used to take two JEE Advanced pattern test every Sunday.

Speaking about the challenges, Maheshwari said: “Challenges were remembering Chemistry, time constraint in solving the paper, tough competition from like aspirant students throughout India in various coaching classes and schools. It is really tough competition at the top and one needs to keep calm, cool and perseverance throughout the preparatory period.

Sharing suggestions to other aspirants preparing for JEE, the CRL 15 said: “Start early from 7th standard onwards and focus on school studies, especially NCERT books, Olympiads. Keep yourself fit by playing outdoor or racquet games daily. But from 11th onwards only focus on JEE mains and JEE advanced pattern.”

The Narayana group has excellent faculty, the topper added, who guided throughout the journey by clearing the doubts, explaining the concepts very well. Maintaining the error analysis notebook helped the topper to go back and revise things perfectly.

JEE Advanced 2023 AIR 9: Balaaji Reddy

Balaaji Reddy started his preparation in Class 7. The CRL 9 JEE Advanced rank holder found Narayana CO school close to his residence and they helped him achieve this rank. The topper wants to do computer science engineering from IIT Bombay.

JEE Advanced 2023 CRL 11: Ujwal L Shankar

Shankar has bagged the CRL 11 rank in JEE Advanced 2023 and he was from the IIT Bonbay zone. The JEE Advanced 2023 CRL 11 topper is also the Karnataka state topper and has scored 322 marks out of 360 and a full 120 marks in physics.

Sharing the exam strategy, Shankar said he followed the micro schedule organised by Narayana and during the teaching weeks, he first focused on gaining clarity in the concepts and then completed solving the Narayana modules and previous year Narayana question papers.

During revision, he started referring to some standard references for theory and worked on previous year JEE Advanced questions along with some standard question banks and assignments.

Yuvraj Gupta: JEE Advanced 2023 CRL 13

Saying that Yuvraj Gupta was a student of Narayana e-techno School, Andheri, Gupta prepared for JEE Advanced 2023 exam using study material and test papers provided by his school. The topper wants to study computer science engineering from IIT Bombay and in an interview with Careers360, Gupta said that his larger purpose is to create new inventions to make life easy and make the planet a better place to live.

Saying that he had to sacrifice family functions, extra-curricular activities and had very minimum friends, he thinks the real challenge was to keep himself focused on the goal and asks the future IIT aspirants to stay completely focused, put in all hard work and do continuous practice and stay consistent in preparation.
