NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur will organise the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2025. The institute has announced the JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria for Indian and foreign nationals on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. In a major rejig, the number of attempts has been increased to three times which was twice earlier.

IITK will soon release the JEE Advanced 2025 information bulletin containing exam date, registration process, application fee, exam pattern, syllabus, marking scheme, and more on the JEE Advanced 2025 official website.
Students who qualify JEE Main 2025 will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2025. The exam will be held for admission to the IITs.
Everything except the JEE Advanced attempt limit remains the same in JEE Advanced eligibility 2025. Aspirants are required to fulfill each and every criterion given below.
Criterion A1: Performance in JEE Main 2025:
Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in JEE Main 2025 paper 1 for BE, BTech. The category-wise distribution of top 2.5 lakh candidates in JEE Main 2025 will be as follows:

Criterion A2: Age limit
Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2000. A relaxation of five years is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Thus, these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995.
Criterion A3: Number of attempts
A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced 2025 maximum of three times in three consecutive years.
Criterion A4: Appearance in Class 12
Criterion A5: Admission at IITs previously
