The registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026 will end today, May 2, 2026. Candidates can apply on the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. The registration process started from April 23, 2026, at 10 am.

Candidates can complete the fee payment by May 4, 2026. The admit cards will be available for download from May 11 to May 17, 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held on May 17, 2026, with paper 1 conducted from 9 am to 12 pm and paper 2 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
This year’s examination, conducted by IIT Roorkee, will be held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Applicants can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
The application fee is Rs 3,200 for General and OBC-NCL male candidates, while female candidates across all categories are required to pay Rs 1,600. The fee for SC, ST, and PwD candidates is also Rs 1,600. Payment must be made online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

To register for the JEE Advanced 2026, applicants need to follow the steps given below:
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must be among the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers in the JEE Main 2026 (BE/BTech paper). They should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are granted a relaxation of five years in the age limit.

They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12 or an equivalent examination, and should have appeared for Class 12 for the first time in either 2025 or 2026. Candidates who are already admitted to any IIT are not eligible to apply.
JEE Advanced 2026 will consist of two compulsory papers, paper 1 and 2, each with a duration of three hours. Both papers will include sections from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The examination will be conducted in both English and Hindi mediums. Candidates belonging to the PwD category will be provided an additional compensatory time of four hours for each paper.
