The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has announced the exam date for the Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2026. This year, the JEE Advanced registration fee 2026 has been increased for candidates opting to appear at examination centres outside India.

The official JEE Advanced 2026 notification has been published on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. As per the revised fees, candidates opting for examination centres in foreign countries will now have to pay a registration fee of USD 200, an increase of USD 50 compared to last year.
There has been no change in the JEE Advanced 2026 application fee for candidates appearing at centres in India compared to previous years.

As per the JEE Advanced 2026 schedule, the registration process will begin on April 23, and candidates will be able to apply until May 2. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held in two sessions on May 17, from 9 am to 12 noon and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
According to the eligibility criteria, only BTech aspirants who rank among the top 2,50,000 qualifiers across all categories in JEE Mains 2026 will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced 2026.
Candidates seeking admission to IITs for the BTech programme must apply for JEE Advanced and pay the registration fee online.

“The registration fee mentioned above does not cover service charges, processing fees, or any additional fees that may be imposed by banks or payment gateways. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable and non-transferable,” the IIT Roorkee notice said.
Candidates are responsible for reaching the examination centre at their own expense and for making their own arrangements to appear for the JEE Advanced exam, the notice added.
