Try NowNEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) has issued the Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE Advanced 2024) admit card for registered and eligible students. The JEE Advanced 2024 exam for admission to engineering courses at IITs will be conducted on May 26 at different exam centres across the country. JEE Advanced hall ticket download link will be available till the exam date up to 2.30 pm. Candidates will have to key in their registration number, password, security pin to download the admit card. "A direct link for downloading admit card has been sent to candidate's registered email addresses," IIT-M said.
IIT-Madras said the JEE Adv admit card 2024 will have details of candidate’s name, roll number for JEE Advanced 2024, photograph, signature, date of birth, address for correspondence, and category.
“Candidates should carefully examine the entries in the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, they should contact the Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2024 of the respective Zonal coordinating IIT,” it said.
On the day of exam, candidates will have to mandatorily carry the JEE Advanced admit card 2024 along with a government-issued photo identity card. The documents that are considered valid for verification purposes include Aadhaar card, school, college, institute ID, driving license, voter ID, passport, PAN card, notarized certificate with photograph. Those who fail to produce these documents on the exam day will not be allowed entry into the exam hall.
How to download JEE Advanced admit card 2024
Candidates can follow the steps given below to download IIT JEE Advanced admit card 2024.
- Visit the IIT JEE Adv official website, jeeadv.ac.in 2024.
- Click on the Download JEE Advanced admit card 2024 link on the homepage.
- The page will be redirected to the JEE Adv hall ticket download page.
- Enter registration number and password in the space provided.
- Submit the credentials entered.
- JEE Advanced 2024 hall ticket will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the admit card and save it for future reference.
Candidates with less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing will be allowed to avail the services of a scribe. The last date to choose a scribe is May 25.
