NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency has successfully conducted the JEE Main 2020 Paper in two shifts today, September 1. As per the student reviews, all the safety guidelines for COVID-19 were followed at the JEE Main 2020 exam centres and students faced no problems during the exam. JEE Main student reaction at the exam centres were mostly postive since many claimed that all of the guidelines were followed by the authorities.

COVID SOPs followed at exam centres on JEE Main 2020 Day 1 exam
Parents were not allowed to wait outside the exam centres; they could wait in the area after barricading made on the centre.
Thermal screening of all the candidates was done at the JEE Main 2020 exam centres.
Candidates were provided with fresh masks and were asked to discard their masks.
Proper 6 feet distance between the seats was maintained inside the examination halls.
Social distancing norms were followed by the entire staff at the exam centres and also by the students.
As per the students who appeared for the exam, proper care was taken to avoid any type of contact.
Students were also provided with hand sanitizers to clean their hands.
Students also said that no crowding was there during biometric verification.

Overall JEE Main 2020 Day 1 went well but some students also complained that SOPs were not followed properly at the exam centres.
JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 exam dates are September 2 to 6 at 660 exam centres located in 224 Indian cities and 8 foreign cities.
