Try NowNew Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be taking a final decision on conducting the two remaining attempts of the JEE Main 2021 exam today, as per the India TV report. JEE Main 2021 April and May sessions were postponed due to the COVID-19 situation in the country.

“NTA is in the process of finalising its proposal for JEE and NEET exam dates. JEE Main 2021 dates will be presented before Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank today and a decision will be made thereafter,” India TV reported.
Students have been raising concerns on social media platforms over the delay in announcing the exam schedule. The decision regarding the remaining two sessions of JEE Main 2021 is likely to be released by the ministry of education today.
Earlier, sources privy to the matter had informed news agency PTI that the remaining sessions of JEE Main 2021 exams are expected to be held either on the last week of July or August with 14 days gap between the two attempts.
JEE Advanced 2021 exam, which is conducted for admissions to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and dual degree course in all the 23 IITs of the country, has also been postponed due to the pandemic. The JEE Advanced exam 2021 was scheduled to be held on July 3.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 board exams in view of the coronavirus pandemic in June month. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and other state boards had also cancelled their respective board exams.
