JEE Main 2022 Answer Key: Students complain of errors in chemistry paper on June 29 exam

NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 paper of June 29 shift 2 had many errors in the Chemistry section. The JEE Main 2022 answer key issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) has given numerous wrong answers for the shift 1 and 2 exams held on June 29 and one wrong answer for the shift 1 exam held on June 27. Aspirants claim that the chemistry section answer keys of shifts 1 and 2 have been swapped.

In chemistry section A, the questions with ID numbers 1373, 501174 and 501176 have been assigned with wrong answer keys in the JEE Mains answer key. For question 1373, no correct option has been given in the NTA JEE main 2022 answer key. For question 501174, the answer provided is option B, but the correct answer is option C. For question 501176, the answer key says option C. However, the correct answer is option D. Similarly, in chemistry section B, questions with the ID numbers 501190, 501188, and 501189 have been given wrong answers in the JEE Main 2022 answer key. In the June 27, first shift paper, question ID 101347 was also assigned with the wrong answer key.
JEE aspirants have raised objections to these mistakes in the provisional JEE Main 2022 answer key issued by NTA on the official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in. To challenge the answer key on the NTA website in case of an error, candidates have to pay a processing fee of Rs. 200.

Another aspirant claimed that the answer keys for the chemistry section for shift 1 and 2 was interchanged. He requested to resolve the issue and said that the students are feeling distressed.

Dear @DG_NTA ,
Ans key for JEE MAIN session 1 is released. But in chemistry section of 29 June session 1 & 2, correct answers are not matching with the given answer keys.
In fact, the chem section answer keys of both sessions have actually swapped!
Pls correct it!
