NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the JEE Main 2022 application form. The direct link to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination Mains will be activated at the JEE Main 2022 official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The authorities will also notify the JEE Main exam dates 2022 soon.

Based on previous year format, the authorities will conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in four sessions - February, March, April and May. The JEE Main 2022 form for each session will be released separately, however, students will be allowed to apply for any one or all sessions together.

JEE Main 2022: Important things to remember before filling the online form

Aspirants who are planning to appear in the JEE Main 2022 exam and are now waiting for JEE Main 2022 application form release must check some of the important things to remember before registration.

  1. IIT JEE 2022 Eligibility criteria - The NTA will release the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2022 along with the brochure. The JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria will include the conditions and requirements that applicants have to meet to be considered for admission. Therefore, before filling out the JEE Main 2022 application form, students should check the eligibility criteria. As per the basic JEE Main eligibility criteria, students should have passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022.

  1. Documents to upload - The filling of the JEE Main application form 2022 consist of many steps including uploading of documents as per specifications. Students are advised to check the list of documents to be uploaded during JEE Main 2022 registration beforehand to avoid any last-minute rush. The required documents include the following:

  • Scanned images of photograph and signature.

  • Category certificates (If belonging to reserved category).

  • Debit card/Internet banking details for payment of JEE Main registration fee 2022.

  • Photo Identity proof such as Aadhaar, Bank passbook, Ration card copy etc.

  1. Where to access NTA JEE application form - It is important for aspirants to access the correct website to fill the online JEE Main 2022 application form. The JEE Main 2022 registration link will be hosted on the NTA JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.nic.in 2021. Details regarding the JEE Main 2022 application form will also be available at NTA website - nta.ac.in.

  1. List of exam centres - While filling the NTA JEE Main application form 2022, students will also be required to submit the preferred exam centres. Based on the candidate's preference, the authorities will allot the examination centre for the JEE Main 2022 exam. Note that the NTA will not entertain any change in examination centres, therefore, students should select the exam cities carefully.

  1. Important instructions - Another important point to remember before JEE Main 2022 registration is to check the instructions mentioned by the authorities in the brochure. The NTA will release certain instructions to follow while applying for the JEE Main 2022 exam. Aspirants should carefully check the important instructions and adhere to them.

  1. Know about JEE Main 2022 exam - Students preparing for the upcoming exam should know about the JEE Main exam. The JEE Main exam 2022 will be conducted as a computer based exam. The authorities conduct the JEE Main for two papers. JEE Main paper 1 2022 will be held for BTech admission, while paper 2 will be conducted for BArch/ BPlan admissions.
