NEW DELHI: Apart from the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), students also seek admission to the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores. The highest JEE Main rank at which a IIIT closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in the year 2021 was 8,292 at IIITM Gwalior.

Students will have to register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2022 for taking admission into the BTech courses at various NITs. The JoSAA counselling 2022 registration will start after the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. JEE advanced 2022 will be held on August 28 for admission to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
