NEW DELHI : The highest Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main rank at which a National Institute of Technology (NIT) closed admission to unreserved seats for BTech in mechanical engineering in the year 2021 was 9,035 at NIT Trichy for candidates from outside Tamil Nadu.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Mains result 2022 on August 8. While the NIT cut-off list 2022 has not been announced yet, students can check last year’s cut-offs for different mechanical engineering to get an idea.

Students will have to register for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling 2022 for taking admission into the BTech courses at various NITs. The JoSAA counselling 2022 registration will start after the JEE Advanced 2022 exam. JEE advanced 2022 will be held on August 28 for admission to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
