As per NTA JEE Main 2022 instructions, students are allowed to carry hand sanitizer, water bottle, face mask and the required documents, i.e JEE Main admit card 2022 and a valid id proof. As per the experts from FIITJEE, the overall difficulty level of JEE Main 2022 July 27 shift 2 exam was moderate. Mathematics was moderately tough while Chemistry was easiest amongst the three subjects.
Mathematics – In this section questions covered almost all chapters with weightage to Calculus & Coordinate Geometry. There were mixed concepts questions from Straight Lines, Circle & Parabola. Questions also asked from Sequence & Series, Binomial Distribution, Probability, Matrices, Vectors, 3 D Geometry & Complex numbers in Algebra. In Calculus- Area under Curves had 4 questions. Numerical Based question had lengthy calculations as per students. Few students also reported it was tricky.
Physics – This section was balanced. Some good questions were asked from Mechanics, Wave & Sound, Rotational Motion, Heat & Thermodynamics, Kinematics, Electrostatics, EM Waves, Current Electricity, AC Circuits, & Communication Systems. Few Numerical based questions were easy.
Chemistry – Physical Chemistry was mostly in Numerical based section while MCQs were from Organic & Inorganic Chemistry. Weightage was given to Chemical Kinetics, Chemical Equilibrium, Electrochemistry &Thermodynamics. Numerical Based questions from Physical Chemistry were easy. Inorganic Chemistry had questions from Co-ordination Compounds, Ores & Metallurgy and Environmental Chemistry. Organic Chemistry had questions mostly from NCERT.
NTA will release the JEE Main question paper 2022 tentatively in the first week of August along with the response sheet. Various coaching institutes like Resonance will release the JEE Main 2022question paper soon.
Physics: There were no formula based questions in this section. Many questions were tricky and lengthy. The topics asked in this section are modern physics, photoelectric effect, EM waves, semiconductors, current electricity and others.
Chemistry: This section was moderate in comparison to other shifts. Some of the topics asked in this section are biomolecules, polymers, chemistry in everyday life and others.
Mathematics: The majority of questions in this section were asked from Mathematical reasoning, calculas, hyperbola, parabola and others.
As per Ujjwal Singh, CEO at Infinity Learn, shift 1 JEE Main paper was just like other papers conducted so far in the July session. Chemistry was easier. But Physics was the easiest. Speaking of Mathematics, a few questions were time-consuming, but still, attempting around 15 questions within the given time limit can be considered as good attempt. I feel students can score 99 percentile in this paper with about 180-190 marks."

NTA will release the JEE Main cut off 2022 after the conclusion of July session exam. The cutoff of JEE Mains 2022 will be released separately for all the categories. Applicants who will score marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks will be declared qualified in the exam.

Chemistry – (Easy level) Physical Chemistry was given more weightage compared to Organic & Inorganic Chemistry. Questions were asked from Coordination Compounds, Ores & Metallurgy and Environmental Chemistry. Organic Chemistry had questions from Benzene, Phenols, Alcohol & Biomolecules. Numerical Based questions from Physical Chemistry were easy. Questions were asked from Chemical Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, Solutions & Mole Concept. Inorganic Chemistry had questions mostly from NCERT.

Mathematics
Students found Mathematics part moderate. Some questions involved lengthy calculations. There were 8 questions from calculus, 7 questions from Algebra and 3 to 4 questions from Vectors and 3 Dimensional and4 questions were from Coordinate Geometry and trigonometry too found a place in this section.
Physics
The Physics paper was easy. Questions were asked from all the prominent chapters - 2 questions from Optics, 5 questions from Mechanics, 2 or 3 questions from Thermodynamics and one each from communication systems, experimental physics and units and measurements. Questions about waves and oscillations and modern physics were also asked. As expected, numerical type questions were more in numbers than theoretical questions and almost all numerical were simple formula-based questions.
Chemistry
This paper was easy to Moderate and NCERT based. Almost equal number of questions were asked from the Physical, Inorganic and Organic branches of Chemistry. The majority of questions in the numerical value-based section were from Physical Chemistry. The whole of the paper was NCERT based. Covering NCERT and its Examples would be the key to scoring good marks. Chapters like Biomolecules, Polymers, Chemistry in everyday life and environmental chemistry besides regular topics found due representation in the paper.
As per the expects from various coaching institutes, attempting 55+ questions in JEE Main exam with good accuracy is considered to be as good attempt.

The authorities have notified that students will be provided with the masks at the exam centre.
