JEE Main 2023 begins from January 24; Paper pattern, marking scheme

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to begin the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 exam from January 24. Candidates who are planning to appear for the JEE Main 2023 session 1 exam can apply online at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2023. Along with the IIT JEE Main registration form 2023, the exam pattern has also been made available in the official brochure. • The Joint Entrance Examination Mains will be conducted as a computer based test.

• The JEE Main exam duration 2023 will be of three hours.

• There will be 13 languages for the JEE Main examination namely English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

• There will be two types of questions in JEE Main 2023 i.e. Multiple choice questions and questions with numerical value as answers.

• JEE Main 2023 will consist of 3 sections namely Mathematics, Physics and chemistry.

• The total number of questions will be 75 questions with 25 questions from each section.

• The maximum number of marks in the JEE Main exam will be 300.
