NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) commencing the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2023 session 2 exam today, April 6, 2023. The exam will be held in two shifts from 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. Applicants can download the JEE Main 2023 session 2 admit card on official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can check the JEE Main dress code and things to carry to the exam centre here.

JEE Main 2023: Things to carry on exam center

  • Candidates must carry their JEE Main admit card 2023 along with self-declaration downloaded from the NTA Website, on a clear printout on A4 size paper duly filled in.
  • A transparent Ball point pen.
  • Additional photograph that will be pasted on the attendance sheet.
  • Personal transparent water bottle

JEE Main 2023: General guidelines

  • Ensure you reach the test centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in your JEE Main 2023 admit card. Candidates that report after the gate closes, will not be allowed to enter the test venue.
  • Candidates are required to write their name and roll number at the top of their rough sheet and must return the sheets and admit card to the invigilator, before leaving the exam hall.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the JEE Main exam without admit card, photograph and photo ID proof.
  • Students must not carry any prohibited item like mobile phone, study materials, electronic items or any such item to the JEE Main 2023 exam venue.
  • Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets, fruits and transparent water bottles to the test centre. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates, candy, sandwiches etc.

JEE Main 2023: Dress code

  • Candidates will not be allowed to wear any kind of stole or dupatta or scarf.
  • Students should not wear any kind of jewelry or ornaments or any kind of metallic items or any cloth or items containing metal.
  • Candidates are not allowed to wear a cap or muffler or any cloth that covers the head.
  • Candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets, or any such items.
