NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2023 January session exam dates for the candidates who were put on hold due to duplicate credentials. The exams for these candidates will now be held between January 28 and February 1, 2023. The representations for all candidates who were found with duplicate credentials and images are under scrutiny, NTA said adding that candidates who clarified their positions have been issued the JEE Main 2023 admit cards. NTA while announcing this on social media said: “The representations on duplicate credentials/images are under scrutiny & Admit Cards for some candidates have been issued. Others will be released after close scrutiny. Examination of other candidates found eligible will be held between 28th Janto 1st Feb, 2023.”

According to an NTA statement issued on Monday, January 23, the candidature of such candidates who have filled multiple JEE application form has been kept on hold and their applications were being scrutinized. The applicants were informed by mail to clarify their positions with a justified representation. NTA said it would allow the candidates to appear for JEE Main 2023 in the current session only once after their identity is established by them.
The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2023 session 1 exam started on Tuesday, January 24. The candidates taking the JEE Main 2023 day 1 exam analysed the exam as ‘moderate’.
