JEE Main 2024 session 2 result will be declared on April 29. 

JEE Main 2024 is a qualifying test for JEE Advanced. The exam is conducted for admission at NITs, IITs, and CFTIs.

As per the NTA, to raise objections against the JEE Main 2024 answer key, a candidate has to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.

This year, NTA has deleted certain topics from JEE Main syllabus 2024. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check the deleted topics. 

JEE Main All India ranks will be announced along with session 2 results. For candidates who appeared for both sessions, their best scores out of the two  sessions will be considered for the list.

The JEE Main 2024 January session exam witnessed one of the highest attendance of 95.8 per cent for paper 1.

JEE Main session 1 was held on January 24, 27, 29, 30, 31 and February 1, 2024, at various exam centres across the country.

The highest closing rank at which NIT Delhi closed admission to its BTech programmes was 9,930 for gender-neutral open seats for the students outside the state last year. The NIT Delhi cut-offs for BTech CSE and BTEch in electronics communication engineering dropped while JEE Main cut-offs for all other programmes were high.

As per JEE Main 2024 marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer. There will be negative marking and so, one mark will be deducted for wrong answer. Candidates will get no marks for unattempted questions. 

As per expected JEE Main 2024 marks vs percentile, marks scored by candidates between 160 and 174 will make percentile between 98.52824811 and 98.99673561. 

JEE Main 2024 was conducted for a total of 300 marks. The BTech exam included three subjects -- physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Each subject consisted of 30 questions carrying 100 marks.
