JEE Main 2024 exam city reduced to 300; 20 cities removed from Bihar

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency has revised the list of examination centres for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2024. The exam centre list is available at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Students who are applying for the JEE Main 2024 exam should check the exam centres carefully before filling out the application form.

Last year, the JEE Main exam was held in 394 exam cities which are now reduced to 300. Besides some exam cities were replaced by new ones. The major changes are introduced in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh wherein 20 exam cities are removed from Bihar and 15 are removed from Madhya Pradesh.
Along with this, NTA has removed 2 important Union Territories from the list that are Chandigarh & Daman and Diu.

In 2023, there were 27 exam cities in Andhra Pradesh whereas in 2024, there are 29 test cities. In Assam, 2 exam cities are included that are Dibrugarh, and Lakhimpur AS.
