JEE Main 2024 February 1 Shift 2 Exam Analysis: Maths section hard, lengthy; physics tougher than chemistry

NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Main 2024) session 1 concluded today. Students coming out of the exam centre said the JEE Main 2024 February 1 shift 2 exam was similar to the morning shift in difficulty level. As compared to the previous year’s JEE exam, the evening shift paper was moderate.

The National Testing Agency will declare the result on February 12. The NTA has also started the registration process of the JEE Main 2024 session 2 from tomorrow. The JEE Main session 2 will be held from April 1 to 15.

The JEE Main 2024 February 1 shift 2 exam was held from 2 pm to 6 pm. In three hours, the students had to attempt 90 questions for a total of 300 marks. Each section – physics, chemistry and mathematics – had 20 multiple-choice questions and 10 numerical questions. Students had to attempt five numerical questions in each section.
