NEW DELHI: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2024) January 29 shift 2 exam was conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm today for admission into BE , BTech today from 9 am to 12 noon. Students coming out from the JEE Main 2024 exam centres said they found the exam to be easy to moderate in difficulty level. In comparison to the January 27 paper, the questions in this shift were comparatively hard.

They said that the paper covered most of the physics, chemistry and maths syllabus of CBSE Board Class 11 and 12. The students had to attempt 90 questions – 30 each from maths, physics and chemistry, in three hours. Students will be awarded four marks for each correct answer while one mark is deducted for every wrong response.
The question paper had 20 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical questions. Candidates had to attempt five numerical questions.
