NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 2 paper 2 result soon. The result of JEE Main paper 1 (BE/ BTech) was declared on April 24, 2024. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 result 2024 through the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Ahead of the result announcement, the agency has issued a notice regarding debarment for 3 years has been initiated against 39 candidates on account of using unfair means (UFM).

"Following the direction of the court, a candidate can not get two scorecards on different application numbers for the same examination in a year. Thus, for those candidates who appeared more than once with different application numbers, his/her best scores have been declared in the scorecard", NTA notice read.

JEE Main 2024: Multiple scorecard to be treated as unfair means

According to NTA, candidates with more than one application number (more than one scorecards) will be treated as UFM, even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that candidate.

After JEE Main 2024 paper 1 result declaration, there were some issues raised by the candidates regarding not displaying their scorecard, etc. In this regard NTA said, "it was already notified through public notices and the information bulletin of JEE Main 2024 that multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted and will lead to cancellation of his/her result”, NTA said.

Meanwhile, NTA has issued the JEE Main 2024 session 2 paper 2 answer key on the official website. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 answer key till May 1. NTA will issue the JEE Main 2024 paper 2 final answer key after reviewing the objections filed by the candidates. The result will be announced based on the solutions given in the final answer key.
