NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main on its official website. The JEE Main 2024 exam will be held in 2 sessions. According to the NTA exam calendar 2024, JEE Main 2024 session 1 exam will be held in January and the session 2 exam will be held in April.
The JEE Main session 1 exam is scheduled to be held between January 24 and February 1, 2024 and session 2 examination will be held between April 1 and April 15, 2024. Students aspiring to pursue undergraduate programs in engineering, architecture, and planning can make a note of these dates.

JEE Main 2024 registration is expected to begin this month. Candidates will be able to apply for JEE Main 2024 through the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) exam comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (BE, BTech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.
Paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses in the country. The JEE Main exam will be conducted in two sessions for admissions in the next academic session. The JEE Main 2024 first shift will take place from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
