NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 from today, April 2. The JEE Main session 2 exams will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. On the first day, the exam will be held in two shifts—shift 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The testing agency has issued the JEE Main admit card 2025 for exams conducted on April 2, 3, and 4. Engineering aspirants can download their JEE Main 2025 admit card session 2 through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to enter their application number and password to log in and download the JEE Main session 2 admit card 2025. The JEE Main admit card 2025 for the remaining exam will be available soon on the official website.
The NTA JEE Main 2025 admit card will include details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, application number, exam date, time, venue, reporting time, exam day guidelines, and photograph with signature. Examinees are not allowed to carry instruments, geometry or pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper, stationery, textual material (printed or written material), ratables and water (loose or packed), mobile phone, earphone, microphone, pager, calculator, DocuPen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder, electronic watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets or devices.

The agency will conduct the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam on April 2,3,4, and 7 in dual shifts for Paper 1 (BE/BTech) while April 8 exam for the same paper will be conducted in a single shift.
As per JEE Main 2025 guidelines, shoes, footwear with thick soles and garments with large buttons are not permitted. Candidates are also not allowed to wear cap or scarfs, or metallic items. Candidates should opt for lightweight, breathable clothing appropriate for the season.

No. NTA has not revised the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam date despite its clash with Class 12 board exams. However, Candidates whose exam dates overlapped had the option to inform NTA via their registered email at jeemain@nta.ac.in by 5 pm on March 29, 2025. They were required to attach a copy of their Class 12 board exam admit card along with the JEE Main 2025 session 2 exam city intimation slip.
