NEW DELHI: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) cut-off for BTech Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) went up last year for female candidates in the top National Institutes of Technology (NITs) including NIT Tirchurappalli, NIT Surathkal, NIT Rourkela, and NIT Warangal, showing an increasing trend among women. For admission to BTech ECE programmes at NITs, students will be required to qualify and obtain a good rank in the paper 1 (BE, BTech) of JEE Main exam 2025. JEE Main 2025 live updates.

JEE Mains 2025 session 2 paper 1 will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the JEE Main city intimation slip 2025 for session 2 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling process for BTech ECE admissions in NITs. JoSAA counselling 2025 will commence after the declaration of JEE Main result 2025.
