NEW DELHI: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur BTech admission 2025 will be based on Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2025. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam was held from January 22 to 30. As per last year's closing ranks for open category candidates, the NIT Raipur JEE Main cut-off has decreased for popular branches like computer science engineering (CSE), civil engineering and chemical engineering.

The JEE Mains session 2 registration 2025 has commenced. The JEE Mains 2025 session 2 registration deadline is February 25. The JEE Mains session 2 exams 2025 are scheduled from April 1 to 8. As per JEE Mains 2025 exam analysis for session 1, straight forward questions were asked in chemistry and physics sections, but maths section was a bit lengthy. Several candidates who appeared for the Jan 23 shift 1 exam reported errors in JEE Mains question paper 2025. The JEE Mains 2025 Jan 28 shift 1 paper was considered the toughest in session 1.
JEE Main Cut-off 2025: Competitive branches at NIT Raipur
As per the NIT Raipur JEE Main closing ranks, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is the most competitive branch with a closing rank of 20185, followed by Information Technology, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
On the other hand, as per the last year's NIT Raipur JEE Mains cut-off, Bio Medical Engineering and Biotechnology are the least competitive branches as they have the highest closing ranks.
NIT Raipur JEE Main Cut-off 2025: Expected closing ranks
Based on past trends, the expected JEE Main closing ranks at NIT Raipur for popular BTech branches could be:
- NIT Raipur JEE Main CSE Cut-off: The closing rank can be around 19000 to 21000 based on recent trends.
- NIT Raipur JEE Main Chemical Engineering Cut-off: The closing rank can be around 64,000 to 68,000 based on past trends.
- NIT Raipur JEE Main Cut-Off for Civil Engineering: The closing ranks can be around 66000 to 69000 based on recent trends.
