NEW DELHI: The National Institutes of Technology (NITs) witnessed a rise in the JEE Main cut-off for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlan) programmes last year. The NITs offer admission to BArch and BPlan programmes based on JEE Main score in Paper 2 and JEE Main rank.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main 2025) for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes, including Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech), BArch and BPlan at the NITs, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other Government-Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs).
JEE Main 2025: Session 2 details
The JEE Main exam 2025 is conducted every year in two sessions. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 will conclude today with Paper 2. JEE Main exam 2025 session 2 is tentatively scheduled to be held between April 1 and April 8, 2025.
The JEE Main 2025 session 2 registration process will begin from tomorrow, January 31, 2025. The last date to register for the JEE Main 2025 session 2 is February 24, 2025. The testing agency will issue the JEE Main 2025 admit card for session 2 from three days before the exam commence and the result will be announced by April 17.

Candidates seeking admission to the BArch programme at the NITs can refer to the table below for the closing ranks from the past two years. The table includes the open category, gender neutral closing rank of JEE Main 2023 and JEE Main 2024.

JEE Main cut-off for BPlan programme
Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal is the only institute that offers admission to BPlan programme. The programme saw a decrease in closing rank for the Home state (HS) category while an increase in the open state (OS) category.
