The JEE Main 2025 clash with board exams is creating problems for students who are appearing in both. However, the JEE Main session 2 clash with Class 12 board exam dates affects students of psychology, geography, and vocational subjects. The major science subjects in ISC and PSEB 12th such as physics, chemistry and mathematics remain unaffected.

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 exams are scheduled from April 2 to 9. As per the NTA schedule, the JEE Main Paper 1 (BE, BTech) will be held from April 2 to April 7, and Paper 2A (BArch), Paper 2B (BPlanning) on April 8 and 9. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 dates also coincide with CBSE Class 12 board exams on April 2, 3, and 4
JEE Main 2025: Clash with ISC board exams
The ISC Class 12 board exams 2025 will be conducted from February 13 to April 5. On April 2, ISC students have the psychology exam at 2 pm, while on April 4, subjects including geography, electricity and electronics, and geometrical and mechanical drawing will be conducted. The ISC crafts A exam is scheduled for April 5 at 9 am.
JEE Mains 2025: Overlap with PSEB Class 12 exams 2025
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Class 12 exams, running from February 19 to April 4, also have dates coinciding with JEE Main 2025. As per PSEB Class 12 date sheet 2025 , the National Cadet Corps exam will be held on April 2. On April 3, Dance and NSQF subjects such as groceries, automotive, healthcare, and IT-enabled services will be conducted. The PSEB Class 12th Philosophy exam is set for April 4.
JEE Main session 2 schedule2025
The JEE Mains 2025 exam will be held in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 6 pm. On April 8, the JEE Main session 2 exam 2025 will be conducted only in the evening shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per NTA JEE Main session 2 schedule 2025 , April 9 exam will be held in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon).
Students who have to appear for both JEE Main and ISC or PSEB 12th board exams may face logistical challenges in managing their schedules. NTA is yet to announce any measures to address this clash.
The JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip 2025 is expected to be out soon. As per the information bulletin, JEE Main session 2 city intimation slip 2025 is expected to be out in the second week of March. The JEE Main admit card 2025 will be issued three days before the commencement of exam.
