NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 from tomorrow, April 2, for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes. The JEE main session 2 exams are scheduled to be held on April 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9. JEE Main 2025 Live

The JEE Main 2025 session 2 for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) (Paper 1) will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8. The exams on April 2, 3, 4, and 7 will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will take place from 9 am to 12 noon, while shift 2 will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm.

On April 8, the JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in a single shift from 3 pm to 6 pm. On April 9, the exam for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) (Paper 2A ) and Bachelor of Planning (BPlanning) (Paper 2B) will be held in the morning shift.

The testing agency has issued the JEE Main admit card 2025 for exams scheduled to be held on April 2, 3, and 4. Candidates can download their JEE Main 2025 admit card session 2 through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2025 session 2 admit card for the remaining exam will be available soon on the official website.

Engineering aspirants appearing for the JEE Main 2025 exam tomorrow should carry their JEE Main 2025 admit card, a passport-size photograph, and a valid government-issued photo ID. Candidates will be allowed to carry a personal transparent water bottle, a simple transparent ballpoint pen, an additional passport-size photograph, and their original valid ID proof at the exam centre.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Exam pattern

The NTA has updated the revised JEE Main 2025 exam pattern this year. The testing agency has removed the optional questions in Section B from both Paper 1 and Paper 2, making all five questions in this section compulsory.

As per the JEE Main session 2 marking scheme, each correct answer will be awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. No marks will be given for unanswered questions. The detailed JEE Main 2025 exam pattern is given in the table below.
