Candidates can download the JEE Mains 2026 answer key and response sheet using their valid application number and password, once published.
Candidates can challenge the JEE Main 2026 provisional answer key through NTA’s objection facility before the given deadline. If they are not satisfied with any answer, they can raise objections by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.
The NTA conducted JEE Main 2026 session 2 on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 for admission to engineering (BTech), architecture (BArch), and planning (BPlanning) courses.

For JEE Main session 2 paper 1 , about 11.06 lakh students registered in India and 4,229 from abroad. Around 93% of them attended the engineering entrance exam, and about 97% completed Aadhaar verification.
NTA said that no challenge will be accepted without paying the processing fee, and the fee must be paid only through the given method.
Candidates should note that if any challenge is found to be correct, the JEE Main answer key will be revised, and the change will be applied to all candidates’ responses.
Based on the revised answer key, the JEE Main 2026 session 2 results and final rankings will be prepared and declared by April 20.

Follow the steps below to download the JEE Main 2026 session 2 paper 1 answer key.
- Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Answer Key and Response Sheet” link.
- Enter the valid application number and password.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Question-wise status and selected option ID will appear.
- Download and check the JEE Mains 2026 session 2 answer key and response sheet.
