The National Testing Agency (NTA) will open the JEE Main 2026 correction window for session 1 tomorrow, allowing candidates to edit select fields in their application form. The JEE Mains correction facility will be available from December 1 to 2 till 11.50 pm on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

As per the schedule, the session 1 exams for the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Mains 2026) will be conducted from January 21 to 30. The NTA has announced instructions to edit multiple details in the application form, while restricting changes in fields related to marks and the state code of eligibility.

Although the NTA allows candidates to change or modify the JEE Main exam city choices, it has clarified that the centres may be allotted based on availability and permanent and present address of the candidate.

The guidelines permit candidates to add more papers, however, candidates will have to pay the additional fees or the difference through the available payment mode. General category candidates applying for any one of the papers – BE, BTech or BArch or Planning – will have to pay Rs 1,000 if they are male and Rs 800 if they are female. The amount increases to Rs 5,000 and Rs 4,000 if they choose to appear outside India.

Candidates opting for paper 1 BE, BTech and paper 2A BArch or paper 2B BPlanning will have to deposit Rs 2,000 if they are male and Rs 1,600 if female belonging to general, Gen-EWS, or OBC categories.
