JEE Mains 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2. Candidates who missed the earlier deadline can now submit their application forms and complete the fee payment online at NTA’s official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Applicants will be able to pay the examination fee until 11:50 pm on March 13. The agency clarified that this is a one-time extended opportunity provided after receiving several requests from candidates seeking additional time to register and pay the fee.
In the official notification, NTA advised applicants to carefully verify the information submitted in the application form. It also clarified that no correction window will be provided after the submission of the form during this extended registration period. Candidates must therefore ensure that all details entered during registration are accurate.
Earlier, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results were declared on February 16. Candidates seeking further information regarding the exam schedule and guidelines can check the official information bulletin available on the JEE Main website.
Below are the key deadlines announced by the NTA regarding registration and fee payment;
Registration opens: March 12, 2026 (Afternoon)
Registration deadline: March 13, 2026 (9:00 pm)
Fee payment deadline: March 13, 2026 (11:50 pm)
Candidates can complete the application process by following these steps:
Visit the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
Click on the JEE Main Session 2 registration link available on the homepage
Complete the new candidate registration process
Log in using the application number and password created during registration
Enter the required personal, academic, and examination details
Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the specified format
Pay the application fee online through the available payment options
Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.
