NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the JEE Main 2025 application correction date. As per the schedule, JEE Mains 2025 correction facility will be available from November 26 to November 27 upto 11:50 pm. The NTA has not extended the JEE Mains 2025 registration deadline. The JEE Mains 2025 registration deadline is November 22.

The NTA has answered the frequently asked questions on JEE Mains 2025. Students who applied for the engineering entrance exam can check the JEE Mains 2025 FAQs on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Mains 2025 session 1 exam will be held from January 22 to 31and the session 2 exams will be conducted from April 1 to 8, 2025.

Q2: How can I register for JEE Mains 2025?
Detailed instructions for online registration are available in the Information Bulletin under the "Important Information at a Glance" section on the NTA website.

Q3: How are the exam cities allocated?
Candidates can select four cities based on their permanent and present addresses during registration.
Foreign centers will be established only in cities with a large candidate count. Candidates from abroad can choose a nearby country with an exam center or any city in India.
Note: While every effort is made to allot a center from the selected cities, NTA reserves the right to assign a different city. (Refer to Para 5.1 of the Information Bulletin for more details.)
Q4: Is Aadhaar mandatory for JEE Mains 2025?
Aadhaar authentication is optional, but candidates are advised to update their Aadhaar Card with recent details for identity verification at the exam center.

Q5: What are the eligibility criteria and certificates required for PwBD, PwD candidates?
Follow the instructions in the RPwD Act, 2016, and guidelines notified by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

Q6: How can candidates avail the scribe facility?
Guidelines for using a scribe are provided in Chapter 4 of the Information Bulletin and the Public Notice dated October 25, 2024.
Candidates must complete the certificate of undertaking (Appendix IV & VI) and leave fields like Roll Number, Exam Center Name, District, and State blank for completion at the exam center.
Q7: What is the medium of the JEE Main 2025 examination?
The exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, as per the National Education Policy (NEP).

Q8: Is it mandatory to upload the category certificate during the application process?
No, candidates are not required to upload the category certificate. Instead, they must provide:

Q9: When will the JEE Main 2025 examinations be conducted?
Session 1: Between January 22 and January 31, 2025

No, candidates are not required to send any documents, including the Confirmation Page, to NTA through post, fax, WhatsApp, email, or in person.
Q11: Can a candidate apply for Session 2 if they missed the January session?
Yes, if a candidate did not apply for Session 1, they can apply for Session 2 by filling out the Application Form when the portal opens for that session.
Q12: Can NTA manually assign a center to candidates?
No, NTA does not manually allot exam centers. Centers are assigned through a computerized process.
Q13: What happens if the JEE (Main) 2025 exam date clashes with another National or State-level exam?
If such a clash occurs, NTA will not reschedule the exam date. Candidates will need to manage the overlap themselves.
Q14: How can candidates select their examination date and slot for JEE Main 2025?
The date, shift, and slot of the examination are assigned randomly by a computer system for the normalization process. Candidates cannot choose their preferred date or slot.
