NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) January 29 shift 2 exam from 3 pm to 6 pm at various exam centres. As per JEE Main 2025 Jan 29 shift 2 exam analysis by Ajay Sharma, academic director, Aakash Educational Services Limited, physics was easiest, chemistry was of moderate difficulty, and mathematics was most challenging due to lengthy calculations.
Sharma said, "The Chemistry section was rated as easy to moderate and acted as a time-saver. Almost all chapters were covered, with Inorganic and Physical Chemistry being dominant, while Organic Chemistry had fewer questions. Most theoretical questions were directly based on NCERT, making the section straightforward and quick to complete, allowing students to allocate more time to other subjects."
As per candidates who appeared for JEE Mains Jan 29 shift 1 exam 2025, the exam was moderate. Candidates rated JEE Mains Jan 29 shift 1 physics section ‘easier’ as compared to yesterday. In physics, most of the questions were asked from Class 11 NCERT textbooks than Class 12 books. Similar to previous days, maths section was rated ‘lengthy and difficult’.
The difficulty level of JEE Mains 2025 exam was easy to moderate in the first 3 days.
