NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has ended the second shift of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) January 29 exam at 6 pm. NTA JEE Main 2025 shift 2 exam was held from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the JEE Mains Jan 29 shift 2 analysis 2025, the exam was comparatively easy in terms of difficulty level. The JEE Mains 2025 exam is being held for undergraduate engineering admissions at top institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Candidates are required to carry their JEE Main admit card 2025, self-declaration form, valid photo ID, 2 passport size photographs and transparent water bottle to the exam centres.
The NTA has rescheduled the JEE Mains 2025 January 22 exam for 114 candidates from eTalent Exam Center, Peenya, Bengaluru, due to technical issues. The rescheduled JEE Mains 2025 was conducted on January 29 for the affected candidates.

The high-level committee which reviewed the functioning of the National Testing Agency (NTA) recommends setting up of 1,000 examination centres across the country, frequent changes in exam pattern, and collecting biometric data of examinees, as part of a system of identity verification – called DIGI Exam – to prevent impersonation in the entrance exams.

Candidates who appeared for JEE Main 2025 exam will be able to know their probable rank with the help of JEE Main rank predictor. The tool uses candidate's score or percentile, application number, difficulty level, date of birth etc.
Once the JEE Main 2025 session 1 ends, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the JEE Mains 2025 answer key. Candidates will be provided with an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key by paying an objection fee of Rs 200 per question challenged within a given deadline.
JEE Main cut-off for BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) mostly went up last year. The highest NIT cut-off for BTech CSE was 1,224 at NIT Tiruchirappalli for candidates outside Tamil Nadu.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 January 28 shift 1 exam has been rated as the most challenging and tough shift so far, based on student reactions. The first three days of JEE Mains 2025 were easy to moderate in difficulty level.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the first shift of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 January 29 exam at 9 am.
While issuing the admit card for JEE Main 2025, NTA introduced a non-Aadhaar declaration. The form requires candidates to explain the mismatch between their face and the image uploaded on their JEE Main application form 2025.

The entry for the first shift of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 January 29 exam has been closed at 8:30 am. The JEE Mains 2025 session 1 paper 1 will commence at 9 am and continue till 12 noon.

Once, JEE Main 2025 session 1 is over, NTA will issue the official JEE Main answer key 2025. Based on the final answer key, the testing agency will prepare and declare the JEE Mains result 2025. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each correct answer and one mark will be deducted for each wrong response.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025 on January 29 and 30. Rest of the exams are already over on January 22, 23, 24, and 28. JEE Main 2025 paper 1 (BE, BTech) is being held today.

Candidates appearing for the JEE Main 2025 January 29 exam are advised to follow the dress code and things to carry, along with the guidelines. It is compulsory for the students to carry their JEE Main 2025 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof, self-declaration form, and a non-Aadhaar declaration.

The NTA will conduct the JEE Main January 29 shift 1 exams from 9 am to 12 noon. Entry inside the exam hall will commence at 7 am and will be closed at 8.30 am. Candidates will be allowed to login at 8.50 am.

The JEE Main session 1 exams are still no over. However, students found the JEE Main January 28 shift 1 exams to be most 'challenging' and the shift 2 exams to be moderate in difficulty level.
The JEE Main 2025 is being conducted in two sessions for BTech admissions - January and April. The JEE Main session 1 exams will begin today and will continue till January 30 and JEE Main session 2 exams will commence from April 1 and will end on April 8.

The NTA will allow entry inside the JEE Main exam centre from 7 am for the morning shift. Candidates appearing in JEE Main January 29 shift 1 exams will have to report at the exam centre along with their admit card and self-declaration form before 8: 30 am. The shift 1 exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon.
