JEE Main 2025 Live: Session 1 city intimation slip soon at jeemain.nta.nic.in; updates on admit card

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the JEE Main 2025 exam from January 22 to January 29 in two shifts. Paper 1 exam will be held for admissions to BE, BTech courses.  While, paper 2 will be conducted for BArch and BPlanning admissions.

JEE Main 2025 exam starts from January 22

In order to download the JEE Main 2025 city allotment slip, the registered candidates will have to enter their application number and password on the official website.

Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2025 city intimation slip for session 1 through official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates can check the JEE Main intimation city slip 2025 for the BTech paper when available on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA will award four marks for each correct answer and deduct one mark for each incorrect answer. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions as per the JEE Main marking scheme 2025.

In the case of a tie between candidates with identical JEE Main 2025 scores, NTA will use the following criteria to resolve it:

• Higher NTA score in Physics
• Higher NTA score in Chemistry
• Lower ratio of incorrect answers to correct answers across all subjects in the test
• Lower ratio of incorrect answers to correct answers in Mathematics
• Lower ratio of incorrect answers to correct answers in Physics
• Lower ratio of incorrect answers to correct answers in Chemistry

The Supreme Court has allowed a JEE Advanced 2025 third attempt for aspirants who dropped out between November 5 and November 18 last year to appear for the exam, following pleas to restore the third attempt.
