JEECUP 2026 registration deadline extended to May 10; apply at jeecup.admissions.nic.in

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh has extended the last date of the registration of JEECUP 2026. As per the notice, candidates can now register till May 10, 2026 at jeecup.admissions.nic.in. Earlier, the last date to apply for this exam was April 30, 2026.

The decision has been taken after considering student interest and public convenience. The registration for the computer-based entrance examination 2026 was started from January 15, 2026.

As per the notice, candidates will get the opportunity to make corrections in their submitted application forms online on May 9, 10, and 11, 2026. The JEECUP examination will be held between May 15 and May 22, 2026.

JEECUP 2026: Steps to register

To register for the JEECUP 2026, applicants should follow the instructions given below:

• Visit the official JEECUP website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in

• Click the JEECUP 2026 registration link

• Fill out the personal and academic details

• Upload the scanned documents, including photo & signature, make the payment, and then submit

• Download the confirmation page

• Take a printout of the fee receipt for future reference

JEECUP registration 2026: Eligibility and important documents

To qualify for the exam, candidates should have completed their 10+2 education with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with either Biology or Mathematics.

The documents required for registration include a recent passport-sized photograph, educational certificates, and a valid identification proof.

JEECUP 2026: Exam pattern

The JEECUP 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode and will consist of 100 objective-type (multiple-choice) questions. The question paper will cover subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and will be available in both English and Hindi.

The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The paper will be divided into two sections, with 50 questions from Physics and Chemistry combined and 50 questions from Mathematics. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded 4 marks for each correct answer.
