NEW DELHI: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) will conduct the Class 12 board exam 2024 from today. According to the JK Board date sheet 2024, the Class 12 annual theory exam will conclude on March 28. The board will conduct the Geography exam today.

In a latest update, the J-K Board has notified the exam day guidelines for Class 12 board exams. All students will be frisked by the superintendent, invigilators, inspectors and the members of the vigilance squad of board during the conduct of examination.

Students have been instructed to write their roll numbers in the boxes on the right hand side of the title page of the answer book. The general English exam will be held next on March 9. The JKBOSE 12th answer book will have 28 pages including the title and the back page. Students will have to report to the centre superintendent if there are more or less number of pages.

JKBOSE Board Exam 2024: Unfair means, punishments

As per the guidelines, students who are found using unfair means will be disqualified for up to five years.

Students should not write their name, school’s name or any other marking to disclose their identity. They should not carry with them notes or other records either handwritten or printed that are related to the exam.

They are prohibited from possessing any high tech gadgets like mobile phones, transmitter pens, bluetooth headsets during the exam. The board has also warned students not to carry any weapons in or near the exam hall.

Those helping others in cheating, records or marking on the body or furniture will also be considered as unfair means. Other punishable acts include misbehaving with the officials inside or outside the exam hall, changing the seats without permission, or taking the exam in a different test centre.
