JKLU PhD Admissions 2026: Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks in order to be eligible for admission to PhD programmes.

The JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur has started admission for its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme. Eligible candidates can apply for the PhD programme through the JKLU’s official website at jklu.edu.in.
The JKLU will close the registration for admission to the PhD programme on July 15.
As per the eligibility criteria, interested candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks. They should also have a 4-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 75% marks or equivalent CGPA to be eligible to register.
Currently, the JKLU has three institutes, one for engineering, other for design and the third for management students. The university offers PhD programmes across all three, according to Vijaysekhar Chellaboina, vice chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University.

Notably, candidates in their final year of their master’s programme can also apply for the PhD programme. The university will admit PG students on the basis of JKLU PhD Entrance Test or UGC-NET, CSIR- NET, GATE or equivalent scores.
The selection process also includes research proposal evaluation and personal interview or faculty interaction.
The JKLU PhD entrance test will be held on July 18 for admission to the PhD programme. The entrance test will be held on research aptitude, subject-specific knowledge, analytical and critical thinking, and academic writing, problem-solving skills.
