ASTU has also outlined the procedure for obtaining OMR sheet photocopies and the tie-breaking criteria for JLEE and JMEE 2026 merit lists

Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) has released the Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) and Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) result on the official website of ASTU at astu.ac.in. Applicants can access their scores using the details, including email or mobile number and password.
According to the notice, candidates can obtain their photo copy of the OMR sheet till July 18, 2026. Candidates have to mention their roll no., name, contact number and postal address correctly in their application form.
Candidates wishing to obtain a photocopy of their OMR sheet must submit an application along with a bank draft of Rs. 300 in favour of Assam Science and Technology University, payable at SBI, AEC Branch, Jalukbari, Guwahati. They are required to write their roll number and name on the reverse side of the bank draft.

The application, addressed to the registrar, Assam Science and Technology University, should be submitted either by speed post or in person at the university's office located on Tetelia Road, Jalukbari, Guwahati along with the bank draft.

The tie breaker rule in case a tie in total marks for JLEE/JMEE 2026 are as follows:
JLEE 2026: The merit score will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in mathematics, basics of computer science, engineering graphics, and the branch-specific subject. If two or more candidates secure the same total score, the one with higher marks in the branch-specific subject will be ranked higher. If the tie continues, marks in mathematics, basics of computer science, and engineering graphics will be considered in that order. If there is still no separation, the candidate's date of birth and then the alphabetical order of their name will be used to decide the ranking.

JMEE 2026: The merit list will be based on the total marks scored in mathematics, reasoning, english, and fundamentals of computer. When candidates have the same overall score, preference will first be given to the one with higher marks in fundamentals of computer. If required, marks in mathematics, English, and reasoning will be considered one after another. If the tie still remains, the date of birth and finally the alphabetical order of the candidate's name will be used to determine the final ranking.
