The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer key for the Joint CSIR UGC NET June 2026 Final Answer Keys on the official website of CSIR NET at csirnet.nta.nic.in. To check the final answer key applicants need to enter the details, including application No and password.

As per the notice, this final answer key is available for all 5 subjects. The CSIR exam was conducted for the eligibility of Indian nationals for 'award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', 'appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.' and 'admission to Ph.D. only' in Indian universities and colleges
“Candidates are advised to visit the official Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination website regularly for the latest updates regarding the examination. The NTA has also released the result for the 84 subjects of UGC NET June 2026. Applicants can check the UGC NET June result 2026 on the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. This year, a total of 6,07,151 applicants appeared for the examination across 84 subjects, out of 7,73,806 registered aspirants. Of those who appeared, 4,241 candidates qualified for JRF and Assistant Professors, while 45, 904 qualified for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD. A further 97,434 applicants qualified for PhD only.

The UGC NET results and cut-offs announced for 84 subjects do not apply to candidates who appeared for English, Commerce and Sociology, as the NTA will reconduct the examinations for these three subjects on September 9 and 10, 2026. Their results and scorecards will be out after the re-examination. Meanwhile, NTA has added forestry and statistics to the UGC NET subject list this year. The UGC NET June 2026 session exams were conducted from June 22 to 30, followed by a re-exam at the Jalandhar exam centre on July 5 after technical issues were reported.
